Trafalgar Bowls Club was formed in 1915 with their first meeting being held on the 18th of October in the Trafalgar Mechanics Institute Public Hall. Several of the local community decided it was time for a bowling club and Trafalgar Bowls Club was born.

In 1916 TBC moved to their very first premises and that is where we stand today! We became proud members of the Central Gipplsand Bowling Association Pennant competition and to this day we still participate.
An ever growing club Trafalgar Bowls Club pride themselves on their lush greens, friendly clubhouse and family oriented atmosphere.
Aside from Lawn Bowls the TBC have tried their hand at Carpet and Barefoot bowls. These prove to be a popular event, especially among families during summer time. The ladies carpet bowl team compete for the Ashby/Munro trophy each year at Moe and held annual competitions at the Clubhouse for many years.

1923 - Present
Up Until 1923 Ladies were not permitted to play lawn bowls. They were expected to provide refreshments to the men. They showed an interest in starting their own team and began playing bowls in 1945 and they are still playing to this day!

Central Gippsland Bowls Association Pennant
In 1917 TBC entered a side in the CGBAP with 12 of their strongest players. In 1948 The ladies entered a side in the Central Gippsland Bowls Association Ladies Pennant.
To this day TBC enter a team into the Pennant competition and work hard throughout the year to take a strong team with them.
